Oil tankers berth on the jetties that enable them to unload or take on their valuable cargo.Next to access for crews to the ships, these jetties provide the support of all the oil pipelines and the loading arms.

Loading arms are large crane like installations that support pipes and hoses that provide the flexible connection between the ship and the pipelines on the jetty that carry the oil to shore tanks and vice versa.

FG has developed the FG JAC, an access construction that can be assembled for jetties of any shape and size for inspection purposes of the jetty construction itself (concrete of steel) and all the pipelines the jetty carries, which can run upto 30 or more pipelines, varying between 6 and 40 inch diameter.

The unique feature of the FG JAC is that this platform construction, which can have a size of upto 25 by 25 meters or more, is assembled onshore and due to its excellent floating capacity, it is put into the water by crane, is floated into position under the jetty and then it lifts itself out of the water into the working position.

In this way it will be free from the waves, provides a strong, stable working platform of truly huge dimensions and therefore saves a tremendous amount of budget against more traditional methods like scaffolding structures.
