Many times when the flare tip is scheduled to be replaced, the plant management is not aware of the current maintenance level of the flare stack structure.
The FG FSM is a program that systematically runs through all the items and parts of the flare structure.
Inspection of these items will provide an in-depth insight in the current status of the flare structure’s condition, for instance:
- is it near to collapse
- does it only need repainting
- which parts need to be replaced
- what is the remaining life expectancy
- what budget needs to be freed for what action
are just some of the questions that will be answered by this program.
