At the top of a drilling derrick on board an offshore drilling platform, drillship or submersible there are many items that need to be replaced regularly or immediately.

FG International has the know-how, experience and equipment to provide these specialized services, such as crown block replacements, replacement of compensators and rocker arms, replacement of the guide rail, the exchange of the fingerboard and even replacing or lifting the entire final 25 meters of a derrick construction.
These activities are executed without the use of any cranes, not with those present at the vessel or platform, neither by means of any harbour cranes.

All our services are carried out with the deployment of FG’s specialized winches and constructions that enable FG to fully provide the services independently.

The versatility of the FG equipment allows to adjust to any situation on board and therefore the FG operating method will save the principal not only time and money, but will also ensure an undisturbed continuation of the customer’s own operations respecting the set out schedules, whilst FG can perform their services on a stand alone basis.
