In order to be able to reach problematic accessible locations without the use of cranes or scaffoldings FG personnel will make use of special rope access techniques. By means of the FG JIB®, a specially for safety reasons designed descending device, containing two safety ropes, FG personnel will be able to execute the works at height in a safe way.

The JIB® is intended for daily use by one person and will carry a weight up to a 1000 kg. It provides stability and safety for anyone working at problematic accessible situations. The JIB® is Lloyds certified.

FG personnel are being trained internally and are given extensive instructions in rope access techniques. FG makes use of its’ own training facilities. The new employees and engineers are being trained by an experienced instructor and have to demonstrate a mandatory proof of competence before they are allowed to participate in a project.
